Tadi duktur tanya, nak berapa markah musyarakah (sort of extra marks).
Enti minta berapa?
Ehhh? Kenapa macamtu? Kenapa dia tak minta full mark macam enti?
Tak Tahulah.
******
Duktur: Kamu nak markah musyarakah berapa?
Kawan Arab: 9
Z: *gulp* Sakinah, enti nak minta berapa? (Dalam hati: berapalah markah nak minta kat duktur?)
Duktur: Zahra’ Zainurrashid
Z: Naam
Duktur: Kamu nak berapa?
Z: *gulp* sambil sebut nombor tersebut
Duktur: (Sebut nama kawan arab yang terlupa siapa namanya)
Kawan Arab: 10

Baru saya faham, kenapa orang Arab tak minta extra marks 10 out of 10. Bila kena dekat diri sendiri baru faham.
Kurang aktif dalam kelas, jarang bertanya kepada duktur, macamana kita nak minta markah banyak? Seolah-olah kita perfect tapi sebenarnya tidak.
Tertanya-tanya pula, seandainya Allah bertanya kita sebegitu, apa kita nak jawab ya?
Kita berdoa kepada Allah, nak Firdausi A’la, tapi amalan kita macamana? Setanding atau tidak?
*malunya*

P/S: Kita memang kena berdoa untuk yang terbaik, Firdausi A’la, tapi biarlah amalan kita setanding. Sendiri malu.

Lets say thanks.
Lets say thanks to our parents,
no matter where we are.
Lets say thanks to our family,
no matter how annoying they are,
Lets say thanks to our friends,
no matter how dis-understanding they are.
Lets say thanks to our doctors,
no matter how they are.

I remember those days, when I studied in Barrowcliff Junior School. We were asked to go out of the classroom and make a poem. We had to make a poem based on natures. Well, I’m not good at making poem, plus I had to relate those poem with natures, that adds the misses D misses I misses FFI misses C misses U misses LTY- ies (if you know what I mean
).
My friend, made this:
Those green leaves are like an old man’s skin.
My teacher praises that.
Barrowcliff Junior School, Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Until now, I don’t understand the relationship between the green leaves with an old man’s skin
So, if you don’t understand my poem above, just ignore it
Al-Muhim (The most important is):
Be thankful for what we’ve got. Be thankful to everyone around us, they coloured our life.
No matter how far or near our parents are, lets say thanks to them. They had gave and give almost everything. Even if some parents are not Muslim, we still need to do good deeds to them.
And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail upon travail did his mother bear him, and in years twain was his weaning: (hear the command), “Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy final) Goal.
(Surah Luqman:14)
No matter how annoying our families are, they are still our family (annoying in terms of joking). Being far teaches us that those annoying acts and jokes are the most memorable things in our life.
No matter how dis-understanding our friends are, they are still our friends. Some how, life needs to give and take. No one’s perfect any way. Being overseas, friends are like families. We will know how friends mean a lot to us, trust me
The Believers are but a single Brotherhood.
(Surah Al-Hujurat: 10)
No matter how our doctors are, be thankful what we’ve got. No matter how they teach us. Even if we don’t understand what they are talking about. Even if they gave a straight-forward lecture. Lets say thanks to them , lets make a doa for them. Without our doctors, we wont be able to get what we’ve got right now, we won’t be able to understand what we should understand. Init?
Each and everyone around me are my colours because they coloured my life.
{He who is not thankful to people, he is not thankful to Allah}

sepertimana Si Pengayuh mengayuhkan kayaknya.
Seandainya kita sukar menerima kematian Si Alim Ulama',
lantas diganti dengan Si Amir jahil lagi menjahilkan,
sudah tentu tiada lagi sampah angan-angan.
Maka berterusanlah amalan yang diangankan.
